​Uma Sanasaryan is a Los Angeles based multi-disciplinary artist and storyteller. Inspired by her Soviet upbringing, 1990’s sitcoms and a uniquely California brand of blended spirituality, Uma operates under the moniker of Soup Commie. 

In addition to creating original content for her art and film practices, Uma provides full production and post-production services for television and digital marketing.

She also makes soup and tells stories for community gatherings every month at The Pop Hop in Highland Park.
